Hi friends, can you believe it’s already the last week of August? Don’t forget, I’m still offering free photo shoots for your desert menu items for the month of September. It’s a sweet deal but it’s first come first serve. This is actually a good Segway into today’s topic “choices”. Better still which jobs do you take and which do you turn away. For me it’s not about the money or I’d probably over book and risk a few bad shoots. I make choices, especially when it’s between my calligraphy gigs and my photography gigs. I have to provide value to every customer which sometimes means saying no. For instance, I’ve only been on three shoots this month because I have a few calligraphy jobs that take time and detail. Although I won’t finish the calligraphy jobs until the first week in September, it still allows ample time for client meetings and scheduling shoots. Just like the pic above, each juice (from Pulp Juice in Orange) looks appealing and although you would probably try each, selecting one and seeing if its right for you would be smart. Don’t overload yourself. Give yourself time to refresh so you can be the best you for every client.
