About Me

Hi! I am Tracey and I am pretty much the egg you see. I have a hard shell but I’m pretty soft on the inside so I am easily moved.

I am a full time Facility Manager and part time calligrapher and engraver. My biggest fights are with me because on most days it is just me. But I am also my best advocate which makes me my top supporter. I make my own decisions because I am the one that has to live with them. I am not and never have been desperate for attention and those that interact with me catch on to this pretty quickly.  I have a love for God, family, food and and all things involving creativity.  The last one landed me here.

My passion for writing beautiful lettering and illustrating began years ago. However, life as a freelancer began in May of 2018. I started off writing as a way to study scripture, then I started to appreciate composition of art and words associated with particular verses. Around the same time I opened an Etsy shop (that I’ve since closed) where I provided custom cards and art work. Fast forward through a pandemic, being newly married and moving and all that life throws at many of us. Being confined and quarantined left me anxious, so I honed in on all my talents and skills. I put in the work, took the classes, bought all the equipment, applied my project management skills and today…..I am still progressing, loving all my clients and all my commissions and events. In addition to weddings, I now engrave for live events, both corporate and personal; engraving for Jo Malone and Nordstrom and Bloomingdales just to name a few. This is not consistent, freelance work, but it is gratifying and beautiful and a skill I am pleased to possess. The truly creative me understands this is a competitive street, but it’s my choice to work with you to serve you with your creative needs. So welcome to my site.

I have a few consistent clients now, I’m totally comfortable with the professional side of this, I love the end product……..so yes, heck yeah, I’m doing this. Wedding, trade shows, Holiday events, that’s the fun stuff. Marketing, hearing the “no” word and the “not now” phrase is the hard stuff. But at the end of the day I still give full time to this part time gig because I want to be of value to my clients.

There is still so much for me to learn professionally, technically and personally but I love it all. Feel free to use the contact link if you would like to collaborate or just have a thought you’d like to share.
